Nature of Service

Space Aiders are a professional organising and decluttering service offering clients confidential non-judgemental support with decluttering and organising their home.

We aim to optimise the space in your home and organise it in a way that works for you.

Space Aiders;

* can help you declutter your home prior to selling, moving, or downsizing.

* offer single or ongoing sessions to help support and maintain your space.

 

Initial Consultation

Prior to booking an appointment a telephone consultation will be required. This will give us (Space Aiders) and you (the Client) the opportunity to discuss the best way forward to support you on your decluttering and organising journey. Following the telephone call a visit to your home or video call consultation may be required to fully assess your needs. This will be charged at the hourly rate and deducted from your first invoice should we both agree that we are able to work together.

At the end of each session Space Aiders will go through the completed work with you to ensure it is to your satisfaction and agree another session if required.

Any concerns should be made at this stage.

Privacy and confidentiality

Space Aiders adhere to the Association of Professional Declutters and Organisers code of ethics.

We offer a confidential service; no client details will be shared with a third party other than when working in your home. Your name and location details will be shared with one person to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Space Aiders.

No client details will be used without client’s prior consent. This includes the use of before and after pictures, feedback and testimonies on any public forum, social media platform or Space Aiders website.

Deposits, Payment & Cancellations

50% of your initial session fee is payable 7 days prior to your appointment.

48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations, this must be ether via email via [email protected] or by telephone on 07928 588031.

If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, then the full fee is payable unless rescheduled at time of cancellation and is rebooked within 14 days.

Costs of any storage solutions are solely the clients responsibility.

Health & Safety

Space Aiders will wear PPE when required and or if requested by the client for the safety of us and you.

The client agrees to inform Space Aiders of any health issues or disabilities which may impact themselves or Space Aiders and their ability to complete sessions in a safe and timely manner.

The client agrees that any animals and small children are supervised during sessions to keep them and Space Aiders safe during sessions.

Your name and location will be shared whilst Space aiders are working in your home for safety reasons. as mentioned in our privacy and confidentiality section.

Space Aiders are unable to move or shift large or heavy items if this is required it is the client’s responsibility to arrange this.

Disposal of unwanted items

Space Aiders do not have a licence to dispose of refuse, therefore this is completely and solely the client’s responsibility. This includes refuse bags, skips or any other means of disposal.

The sourcing of any of the above items or services by Space Aiders will be chargeable to the client.

Space Aiders will take one carload of reusable/resalable items to a local charity shop. This does not include electrical items. Any additional loads will be charged and agreed beforehand.

Once items have left your premises these are non-returnable.
